verse!
verse! doesn’t make music for comfort — he makes it to confront what most people avoid.
verse! has been recording and releasing music himself since he was 15 years old. Now 22 & creating out of Dayton, Ohio, his sound moves through shadowy spaces where vice, emotion, faith, and identity blur together. Built on warped R&B melodies and alternative hip-hop textures, his music feels distant but personal at the same time — like a thought you weren’t supposed to say out loud.
As the force behind (E)MOTIONLESS YOUTH, verse! rejects surface-level expression in favor of something more honest, more uneasy. His work lives in the tension between sin and self-awareness, faith and doubt, control and surrender. There’s an ongoing conversation with God in his music — not polished or perfect, but real, uncertain, and searching for mercy.
He’s released 3 albums this year (2026) “ROMEO, OH ROMEO”, “Real Sound Addiction+” & “Real Sound Addiction-” as well over 5 singles showing his devotion to the art of music & his personal take on sound
